The One World Toddler program is for 3-year-old children and those slightly younger or older as developmentally appropriate. Toddlers must be accompanied by parents or teachers as the children are too young to proceed on their own.
Toddler courses contain content that can be downloaded and printed or taken online. The courses can be taken individually or in combination. The courses are designed to standalone, but they are linked in many ways to reinforce the main lessons.
The following free classes are offered:
- Toddler Coding
- Toddler English Language Arts (ELA)
- Toddler Math
- Toddler Orientation (for teachers and parents)
- Toddler Virtues
Each of these classes is a work-in-progress. A lot of good content is available but there is still much more to do. Additional content is currently being developed and uploaded. However, we are looking for collaborators and volunteers to lend their unique knowledge and talents to these endeavors.
Behind the scenes, we are currently developing the following courses:
In addition, we plan to add the following classes when volunteers are found to help develop these courses:
Many topics from these subjects are used in the classes currently offered such as the Toddlers Virtues class and Toddler ELA, but there is so much more rich, age appropriate content to be developed.
Training Provided to Volunteers
We will provide free, self-paced Moodle training to anyone wanting to help develop and/or teach one or more of these courses.
