We may send you follow-up emails after the course to ask for your evaluation and inform of you future training options, new MOOC dates or other resources. Parental Responsibilities

Parents automatically enrolled and participate in the Day-Star Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).

Parent agrees to help their children learn their lessons, memorize prayers, and successful complete projects assigned by the teacher during class.

The school takes all reasonable precautions to secure personal information through password-protected files and filing cabinets in locked rooms.

Applicable to parents and legal guardians of minor children.

As parent or guardian of my minor child, I do hereby authorize the One World School and any of its partners, designated representative(s), and agent(s), to consent to any x-ray examination, anesthetic, medical or surgical diagnosis or treatment and hospital care which is deemed advisable by, and is rendered under the general or special supervision of any physician and surgeon licensed under the provisions of the Medicine Practice Act on the medical staff of a licensed hospital, whether such diagnosis or treatment is rendered at the office of said physician or at said hospital. 

As the parent/guardian of a minor under the age of 18, I understand that this authorization enables the One World School or its partners to arrange medical care for my dependent minor in the event I am unavailable.

I understand that I am responsible for payment of any and all medical expenses incurred on behalf of my dependent minor. This authorization shall remain effective when my child is attending children’s classes, junior youth or youth groups offered by the Spiritual Education of Children Program.


Every effort will be made to communicate with the Emergency Contact or the secondary emergency contact you designed in your personal profile when you registered.


Permission to use photos and videos.

When coming to the Day-Star School or sponsored events, please remember that this is a public space. Photos and videos may be taken by the School staff or persons authorized by the School during your visit and shared in publications (websites, e-newsletters, and other promotional materials) and used on social media by the School or an agency authorized by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of the United States.
